Parenting Course Begins Sept. 15
“Essentials of Discipline: What’s OK, What’s Not OK and What Works”
Parenthood is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences most of us will ever have. But in the middle of busy days, runny noses and carpooling, we sometimes forget to enjoy the journey. Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, has answers, insights and solutions to one of the biggest challenges every parent encounters: DISCIPLINE.
We all do our best as parents, but we only get one chance to do it right. Join us at Beverly Reformed Church for a series of classes for parents who want to take their skills and family to the next level. Using insights from Dr. James Dobson, America’s most trusted authority of parenting issues, we’ll address topics including discipline, boundaries and respect, and learn proven principles to help us build confident, responsible, happy kids (and less stressed-out parents). Join us!
The course will take place Saturday evenings from 5 – 7:00 p.m. at Beverly Reformed Church (2141 Porter Street SW). Potluck dinners are planned so please bring a dish to pass, your own beverages and be ready to meet some new friends.
This 12-session course will give you the practical understanding and encouragement you need to feel confident in your ability to handle discipline in a positive way.
